About tooldebut
tooldebut reviews new AI and SaaS tools while they're still new — often within days of launch. New tools are the hardest to research: there are no long-term user reports yet, the vendor's site is all marketing, and pricing changes fast. Our job is to give you the verifiable facts early: what the tool actually does, what it costs today, and how it differs from the established options.
Our rules
- No invented ratings. We don't publish star ratings or scores — we have no user-rating data to base them on, and we won't fabricate any. You get facts, pros and cons, and a written verdict instead.
- Facts are sourced. Pricing comes from the vendor's own pricing page and carries a "verified on" date. Funding and launch claims cite dated coverage. If we can't verify something, we leave it out.
- Every review lists cons. Our publishing system literally refuses a review without drawbacks.
- Affiliate links never shape coverage. Some tools pay us a commission, some don't; we review and compare them the same way. See our affiliate disclosure.
